The goal of the Building Pathways program is to increase the pool of potential academic leaders on our campus.
This year-long leadership development program is designed for faculty members at the associate professor and full professor rank who demonstrate leadership potential in their current role.
The Building Pathways program is most appropriate for emerging leaders (senior associate professors or newly-promoted full professors) who have an interest in exploring leadership and administrative roles. Faculty members do not have to be in an administrative or titled position to participate, but may have served as leaders in the department, college, or campus through committee assignments or other similar activities.
Building Pathways Fellows attend a series of monthly topical seminars held on campus. They also complete a series of projects and meet with mentors throughout the year.
For more information about the program, contact Associate Provost for Faculty Development Amy Santos.
