At the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, we value our faculty. Along with supporting faculty in their careers at Illinois through mentoring, leadership and award opportunities, we know that investing in our world-class faculty is imperative. In 2023, we released the first Faculty Data Report, at the request of the Illinois Faculty Senate, to demonstrate that investment and show transparency in faculty demographics and compensation on our campus.

These reports include important faculty data, including details on comparisons of rank and category, gender, underrepresented minority (URM) groups and compensation. Where available, infor­mation comparing Illinois to our peer institutions is also provided.
