Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference

Overview

The Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference (FWCA) offers women of color who are faculty, university administrators, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students a unique educational and professional opportunity to network, engage, and learn with peers from around the country. The conference is hosted annually in April and features prominent women of color scholars as keynote speakers, panelists, performers, and workshop facilitators.

Program Support

The Office of the Provost provides limited funding assistance for up to six eligible faculty per year for full-time, Tenure-stream and Specialized Faculty to participate. Funding for eligible faculty covers the registration cost (up to $500).
