As the Director of Faculty Recruitment, Dana Cohen oversees faculty recruitment, orientation, and retention strategy across the University of Illinois campus, as well as the Dual Career Program at Illinois Human Resources. In this role, she works closely with deans and department heads to improve the recruitment and retention of top faculty talent and to support talent acquisition needs for academic leadership. She also continually assesses current faculty recruitment practices and initiatives across campus to identify areas for improvement of institutional strategic goals.

Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Ms. Cohen was the Assistant Director of the Dual Career Program at Illinois Human Resources. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
