The Campus Committee on Off-Cycle Promotion and Tenure acts in an advisory capacity to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The committee reviews tenure dossiers of candidates that units are considering for tenured faculty positions or for tenure and/or promotion off-cycle (for retention purposes, for example).
