As the Executive Associate Provost for Budget & Resource Planning, Paul Redman provides budget planning and allocation advice to the Vice Provost for Budget & Resource Planning and the Provost. He also has oversight of daily functions and management of staff and provides advice to Deans and academic officers in areas related to budget, finance, planning and resource allocation.

Prior to assuming this role in the Office of the Provost, Mr. Redman gained more than 13 years of resource management experience at the University of Illinois, most recently as Associate Provost for Capital Planning. Prior to that, he served as Associate Dean for Administration in the College of Fine and Applied Arts, Director of Business Services in the Grainger College of Engineering and as Assistant Director for Operations in the School of Music.

Paul earned BM and MM degrees in Music from the Juilliard School and a MBA degree from Baruch College.
