Kristi Kuntz is the Executive Associate Provost for Academic Programs and Policies and Executive Director of the Campus Center for Advising and Academic Services. She leads efforts to ensure the quality and relevance of academic programs and to provide support to students as they explore academic pathways and options.

Ms. Kuntz provides leadership and coordination in the realm of academic programs and policies, reporting to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Innovation. In addition, she convenes the Council of Undergraduate Deans, and serves as a Provost’s Office representative in university and campus policy conversations on a range of subjects such as academic policy development and implementation. She also serves as the Executive Director of the Campus Center for Advising and Academic Services, which includes four units: the Division of General Studies, an enrollment unit for the campus’ 3,000 undeclared majors; the National and International Scholarships Program, which cultivates applicants for prestigious scholarship competitions; Scholar Support Program, which offers mentoring and support for the Illinois Promise, HOPE Chicago and Stamps scholars; and Pre-Law Advising Services, which supports undergraduates and alumni seeking admission to law school.
