Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education
As Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Dr. Jackson provides campus-wide leadership in the area of undergraduate education, including setting strategic directions for the undergraduate experience at Illinois, supporting innovation in classroom and in online instruction, and encouraging interdisciplinary initiatives in curriculum and pedagogy. Collaborating with colleges, schools, and other stakeholders, he works to ensure that the undergraduate experience at Illinois continues to be one of the best in the nation.
Kevin holds a B.B.A. and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been at the University of Illinois since 2004. Most recently, he was a Professor of Accountancy and the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Affairs in the Gies College of Business. From 2015 to 2018, he was the Academic Director of the BS/MAS Program.
