As Advisor for Strategic Initiatives, Ingrid Fulmer provides analysis, guidance, and leadership in the planning, coordination, and implementation of selected strategic initiatives of the Boldly Illinois:2030 Strategic Framework. Bringing research expertise in human resource management and organizational behavior, she assists in identifying clear, measurable goals aligned with Boldly Illinois, provides comprehensive guidance and support to task forces, engages stakeholders, monitors progress to ensure successful implementation, and works to ensure successful outcomes of our strategic framework.
Ingrid is a professor in the School of Labor and Employment Relations (LER) at Illinois. Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, she served as dean and the Milton and Zelda Derber Professor in LER, as vice provost for faculty advancement and faculty affairs at Rutgers University New Brunswick, and as associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers. She also held appointments at University of South Australia, University of South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Michigan State University.
Ingrid holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Memphis, a Master of Tax Accounting from the University of Alabama, and a doctorate in Management-Organization Studies from Vanderbilt University.
