Gennifer Gilbert is the Director of Special Projects and Events, ensuring the implementation of impactful and inclusive projects and events which supports the priorities and initiatives of the Office of the Provost. She oversees campus-level events, faculty development and undergraduate education initiatives and programming, and a variety of special projects. She has oversight of daily functions and management of the projects and events staff.
Rosa Milagros Santos
Rosa Milagros Santos is the Associate Provost for Faculty Development. In this role, she provides leadership with processes and policies related to faculty development and success, including faculty mentoring, support for pre-tenure and mid-career faculty, career paths for specialized faculty, and leadership development.
Sharon Reynolds
As the Associate Provost for Faculty Employee Relations, Sharon Reynolds provides support on a wide variety of academic matters, including issues related to policy development, shared governance, and administrative initiatives.
Linell Edwards
Linell Edwards is the Assistant Director for Assessment and is involved in the continuing efforts to build on the student learning outcomes assessment program.
Kate Techtow
Kate Techtow is a Coordinator of Assessment and Evaluation and is involved in the processes for the university’s accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission.
Staci Provezis
Staci Provezis is the Associate Provost for Planning & Assessment, ensuring that academic programs meet and exceed all regulatory requirements and are able to innovate to meet changing opportunities and priorities. She oversees the campus-wide academic program review process, is involved in campus and unit strategic planning initiatives and the campus accreditation process, and leads the university’s learning outcomes assessment work.
Jonathan Swigart
Jonathan Swigart assists the Associate Provost for Planning & Assessment, and the Coordinators of Assessment & Evaluation. His responsibilities include scheduling and project management, and providing support for the Academic Program Review process.
Staci Ryan
Staci Ryan serves as the primary support for the Associate Director for Special Projects and Events and provides overall event support to the Office of the Provost. Her responsibilities include calendar management, maintaining a comprehensive list of events coordinated by the Office of the Provost, and obtaining event information from university offices and outside vendors. Ms. Ryan serves as the liaison between the Office of the Provost special events team and university departments/vendors.
Jennifer Carleton
Jennifer Carleton assists the Associate Provost for Faculty Employee Relations. Her responsibilities include calendar management and processing Hire Touch approvals, faculty requests such as Emeritus/Emerita status, tenure rollback, leaves of absence, and sabbatical applications.
Melissa Chan
Melissa Chan is a Major Awards Coordinator who facilitates the identification of major scholarly awards and recognitions to ensure successful faculty are appropriately recognized. She works in conjunction with the colleges on campus to nominate University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign faculty for these designations.
