Physics or Specialized Curriculum in Physics

- Students must have completed PHYS 211 – University Physics: Mechanics, PHYS 212 – University Physics: Elec & Mag, PHYS 213 – Univ Physics: Thermal Physics and PHYS 214: Univ Physics – Quantum Physics; and MATH 220 – Calculus or MATH 221 – Calculus I; MATH 231 – Calculus II and MATH 241 – Calculus III with a GPA in these courses of 2.5 or higher for both the Science and Letters concentration (BSLA) and for Specialized Curriculum (BS).
- Freshmen already declared in either the Science and Letters concentration or the Specialized Curriculum may initiate a curricular change to the other program during either of the curricular declaration periods during their first term of enrollment without consultation with the department. All other students must see the departmental academic advisor before processing a curriculum change in LAS Student Academic Affairs.
