General Requirements:
- Policies and Procedures for Intercollegiate Transfer
- On-line Application, which includes a personal essay of up to 500 words.

Advertising Requirements:
- Required pre-requisites for transfer:
- Attendance at an ICT workshop preferred
- Completion of ADV 150 with at least a “B” or better
- Completion of STAT 100 (or an equivalent course) with at least a “B” or better
- A 3.0 minimum GPA is required; a 3.25 GPA is preferred
- Demonstrated passion, knowledge and experience in the area of Advertising
- It is also recommended that students be enrolled in or have completed ECON 102/103, PSYC 100/SOC 100/ANTH 103 when applying for the Advertising major.
Computer Science + Advertising Requirements:
- Required pre-requisites for transfer:
- Attendance at an ICT workshop preferred
- A 3.5 minimum GPA
- Completion of ADV 150 with a “B” or better
- Completion of MATH 220/221 (or equivalent course) with a “B” or better
- Completion of the following Computer Sciences courses with a “B+” or better:
- CS 125
- CS 173
- CS 225
- Demonstrated passion, knowledge and experience in the area of Computer Science and/or Advertising
- It is also recommended that students be enrolled in or have completed ECON 102/103, PSYC 100 or SOC 100 when applying for the Computer Science + Advertising major
- Due to the sequential nature of this major, students should be applying no later than the 2nd semester of sophomore year
Journalism Requirements:
- Required pre-requisites for transfer:
- Attendance at an ICT workshop preferred
- Completion of Comp 1 with at least a “B” or better
- Completion of JOUR 200
- Demonstrated passion, knowledge and experience in the area of Journalism
- It is also recommended that students have completed or be enrolled in ECON 102/103, STAT 100, PSYC 100, SOC 100, CS 105 when applying for the Journalism major
MACS requirements:
- Recommended pre-requisites for transfer:
- Attendance at an ICT workshop preferred
- Completion of Comp 1
- Completion of or current enrollment in MACS 100, 101 or 104, at the time of application
- Demonstrated passion, knowledge and experience in the area of Media and Cinema Studies
Application Periods:
Applications for Inter-College Transfer (ICT) will be conducted at the beginning of the fall semester for spring admission for students who completed the necessary course pre-requisites. A second, shorter application cycle is available during the winter for spring admission for students who had pre-requisite courses in progress in the fall and have received grades in those required courses. A third application cycle is available each spring in April for admission to the following fall semester. All applicants will be notified of admission after grades have been submitted for the spring semester. There is no summer application period.

Advising:
All students will be notified of their admission by the deadline listed on the application. Those students accepted will be contacted by their newly assigned College of Media academic advisor the week following their acceptance to schedule a pre-registration advising appointment.
