The annual Faculty and Scholar Excellence at Illinois online booklet, developed by the Office of the Provost, recognizes scholarly achievements bestowed on faculty during the previous year.
Included are recipients of national and international awards for scholarly endeavors and research; member and fellow election to national and international academies and societies; scholars in the Center for Advanced Study; University Scholars; college and departmental named chairs and professors; and university and campus-wide endowed chairs and professors.
