Charge Letter
Dear Colleagues,
Thank you for your willingness to serve on the Campus Budget Oversight Committee (CBOC) and for the care, thoughtfulness, and perspective you have brought to this work. We truly appreciate the time and energy you have given, and your service reflects a deep commitment to shared governance and to the long-term stewardship of our university.
As we consider a new format for future budget conversations, pause the Investment for Growth initiative, and engage in a campus-wide strategic planning process, we have decided to place the CBOC on an interim pause for this fiscal year. This time will allow us to step back, listen carefully, and think intentionally about how best to shape the Committee’s work going forward so it continues to be meaningful and well aligned with campus priorities.
Your insights have been valuable in helping inform our thinking, and we are grateful for the collaborative spirit you bring to this role. We anticipate reconvening the Committee in late summer or early fall, following the strategic planning process, and look forward to engaging with you again at that time.
Thank you again for your service, collegiality, and continued dedication to the university.
With sincere appreciation,
Aimee Heeter
Senior Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration
