Requirements:

prospective/intercollegiate/. - Students must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all courses applying to the chemistry major as well as a minimum GPA of 2.0 in each of the following courses: CHEM 102 – General Chemistry I AND CHEM 103 – General Chemistry I Lab AND CHEM 104 – General Chemistry II AND CHEM 105 – General Chemistry II Lab or equivalents, as well as MATH 220 – Calculus or MATH 221 – Calculus I AND MATH 231 – Calculus II or equivalents.
- NOTE: Students not earning their Calculus I and II and/or General Chemistry I and II credits at U of I at Urbana-Champaign must obtain written approval of the chemistry departmental academic advisor before processing of a curricular declaration in LAS Student Academic Affairs.
